This Refund Policy explains when and how The Housing Subsidy Brief LLC ("we", "us", "Housing Subsidy Brief") will refund payments. It applies to all products and subscriptions sold through housingsubsidybrief.com. By purchasing a subscription or product, you agree to this policy.
The Reader tier is free. There is nothing to refund.
Pro and Team subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. We offer the following refund options:
If you cancel within 14 days of your initial Pro or Team subscription purchase, we will refund the full amount paid for that initial billing cycle, no questions asked. To request, email support@housingsubsidybrief.com from the email address on the account.
If you cancel an annual Pro or Team subscription after the first 14 days, you can request a prorated refund for the unused portion of the current billing cycle. The refund is calculated as: annual price × (days remaining in cycle ÷ 365), minus any months already used at the monthly rate equivalent.
Monthly Pro and Team subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and will not renew. We do not refund partial months on monthly subscriptions, but your access continues through the end of the paid month.
Founding member rates ($149/month Pro and similar promotional pricing) are subject to the same refund rules as standard pricing, calculated based on the actual amount paid.
The Claude Pack is a digital product delivered immediately upon purchase. Because the buyer receives the full product instantly, we treat Claude Pack sales as final.
Exceptions: We will issue a full refund for Claude Pack purchases in the following circumstances:
To request a Claude Pack refund under one of these exceptions, email support@housingsubsidybrief.com within 30 days of purchase with your order number and a description of the issue.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe. Funds typically appear in 3-10 business days depending on your bank and card network.
If you have a billing concern, please email us first. We resolve nearly every issue within one business day. Initiating a chargeback through your bank or card network before contacting us may result in immediate account suspension and inability to subscribe again in the future. We reserve the right to contest unauthorized chargebacks and provide payment records to your card issuer.
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to active subscribers and posted at this URL with the "Last updated" date revised. Continued use of the service after a policy update constitutes acceptance.
This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through good-faith communication shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions in our Terms of Service.
